Sometimes referred to as "blinkers", race hoods are generally used to restrict the horse's vision to some extent in order to encourage them to focus on the race rather than what is going on around them.
This hood is made from four way stretch elastane material for a close fit and is fastened with clips and elastic straps under the neck. It has a half cup which is stitched onto the hood and features neoprene ears to help cut back noise.
